A Series of Wonderful Events

Today I will spend a couple of hours dishing through new material for the show.  If you don’t spend time with me you don’t know that I try to invite 3-10 new ideas for shows every week.  After I have amassed anywhere between 20-35 good ones I sit down with my pad and begin to work through them. 

Sometimes I end up with awesome routines that I put in the show, sometimes just lines that I put into the show, sometimes the material is terrible, and sometimes it is awesome but won’t fit in my show.  In that last case I often give my material that I like but won’t use to other magicians.  They appreciate the new material, I appreciate seeing my work getting good reactions and making other people’s lives better. 

So today will be spent with notebook in hand and me envisioning what I would like to add to the show.

What will interest me today I wonder?  Humor? Drama? Amazement?  I can not say until I start.  But I look forward to brainstorming.

So I held my first psychic party in the loop.  If you were not there you missed out!  It was a fabulous time! About a dozen and a half people came out at all different times and got great readings. Tree readings are a lot more popular than I realized and I look forward to working more and more of them into what I do.

I also learned a lot about psychic parties and will do it different next time!  I also want to shoot a thanks out to Steve Butcher and the cast at the Moon Rise Hotel. Not only was your space awesome, the room beautiful, but you were more than accommodating and made the event something to brag about!

Well gang I will be around this week for a bit booking shows and doing readings, catch me out!
