I have been everywhere! I have been doing so many shows I have not had a chance to blog! The reason I have not had a chance to blog is that I still don’t have a new laptop! I know. I should get one, and I plan to either this week or next. It has just been wild with all of the work I have been doing. But I promise to be more diligent in the upcoming months.
In other news I am buying a Ford Focus! I would have never thought I would have bought an American made vehicle. I have a lot of friends (who will go unnamed) who review and deal with cars from both ends-both as mechanics and vehicle reviewers-and they have never had anything to say about American cars. Then next thing you know I start getting calls from all of them talking about how they forgot about the Ford Focus. “It is great!” “They get such good mileage!” Etc.
So I consider the possibility of getting one. I support American made, hell I come from a town where that is a way of life for a lot of people. But I did not want to get pigeonholed into buying an inferior product for nostalgia and patriotism’s sake. In my book quality pays the bills.
Well the Focus seems to pay the bills on this one. I will be spending a few more days checking it out, but it seems that my third car will be a Ford Focus.
Car History: 1st car: 1993 Oldsmobile Supreme
2nd car: 2002 Chevy Impala
3rd car: 2007 Ford Focus?….
Well I am off to work on the books and get some fire going under my website. Before I go let me leave you with a schedule of what I am doing this week!
Things I will be doing this week: Running 12 more miles, Biking at least 60 miles, buying a laptop/notebook, buying a Ford Focus, Loufest Tickets, Finishing the website, Working on The Darkness at Trellis Hill, starting The Lost Notebooks of Adam (tenative title), writing Antonio Centeno, and maybe going on a date!
