So I will admit it right up front. I am anxious about my Wildey show. It is a big change for me to go from having to book shows where I show up and an audience is waiting on me to actually generating an audience to bring in and entertain.
This experience is unlike anything I have ever done and I am loving it. The fear is tough to deal with and I won’t lie, I have had some sleepless nights of staring at the ceiling. But I do what I can and always stay mindful of what I am thinking, what I can do, and why.
This has been and continues to be an amazing experience. Good or bad I already know I will be doing this again (and again and again) in my life. I love performing, I love magic and mind reading and hypnosis. Not only that I love every side of them, the performing, the creating, the marketing and so on.
If I am to suceed at whatever I do I must always remind myself of three things.
Hard work precedes good luck.
Good execution is a balance of preparation and willingness to fail.
Fear is only a thing, and things can be dealt with.
In other news I have two meetings for tomorrow. The first is to talk about another piece I will be in promoting my show. The second is to discuss what my show’s posters will look like!
Outside of that I will have a late Alton weekend as my friend’s wife will be out of town and a friend of mine will be in town.
